The story

From the finding to the result.

The challenge

In the food industry, a production anomaly detected too late costs twice over: the material is perishable, and traceability is mandatory. The scenario we set out to demonstrate: moving beyond an ERP that is only ever consulted after the fact. It called for a system that monitors, alerts and acts while the plant is running, without giving up any control over the core system.

The transformation

The demonstrator is built on SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud, in standard: production, procurement and traceability in a single system, kept up to date by SAP. On that foundation, the Casablanca AI Center of Excellence integrated a first use case: Document AI extracts and matches supplier invoices that would otherwise be handled by hand.

The demonstrator runs on S/4HANA Public Cloud: supplier invoices are extracted and matched by Document AI, with no manual entry. On a concrete case, it shows what we know how to integrate into the SAP core, and serves as the basis for a deployment at your organization.
